CAPIC is pleased to announce the 11th annual student competition for photography and illustration. This contest is an opportunity to showcase the wealth of student talent that exists across Canada!

The contest will be judged by six professionals from the Canadian illustration and photographic community. 

Winners gain national visibility, in addition to the first prize of $300, second prize of $200 and the third prize of $150

An entry fee of $20 (plus GST/HST) will be charged for each entry.

CAPIC Rodeo 11 Contest Rules

This contest is open to all post-secondary visual arts students.

There is a maximum of 26 entries accepted for this contest from all submitted entries.

“Acceptance” constitutes “winning”

One “entry” consists of a single image.

Students can enter as many times as they like but are limited to a maximum of three “wins” per member.

There are six cash prizes in total: First, Second, & Third for Photography, and First, Second, & Third for Illustration.

All students who enter will receive a free one-year Student CAPIC membership.

Top 10 finalists in each category receive a free one-year Emerging Talent CAPIC Membership.
